All of these eventually became Motion Pictures. "The Dead Zone" also became a hit Cable TV series starring Anthony Michael Hall. King also has written many novels under the pseudonym 'Richard Bachman'. Some of which include: "Rage", "The Long Walk", and "The Running Man."wrote many books that became motion pictures and also many became made for TV movies. "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile" were very successful films still shown on TV to this day. King has also written many short stories and non-fiction, and screenplays.
Some movies were good and some weren't so good, but nothing compares to reading one of his books.
